Issue 57 of Star Trek: The Official Starship Collection features the small but mighty Romulan Bird-of-Prey starship from the Original Series. This 23rd century warship was equipped with a cloaking device and a powerful plasma-based weapon. Softer than its 22nd century counterpart, this bird of prey was light gray in color rather than dark green. Accompanying this scaled down and accurate model is a fully illustrated magazine, detailing the Bird-of-Prey's capabilities, design and first appearance in the classic episode 'Balance of Terror'.
