Frateschi Miniature Locomotive G22 / G22CU 3102 FERROCARRILES ARGENTINOS HO Scale 1:87

The G-22U and G22CU are the first in a series of general purpose locomotives manufactured by General Motors as a result of an improvement on the G-12. They have higher power and low nose build style. In 1984 there were 129 of these locomotives in the Southern Regional Divisions of the Federal Railway Network (RFFSA), operating on the strong ramps of the Curitiba and Paranaguá stretch, where four of these locomotives are coupled to tow heavy trains, loaded with sugar, rice, soy, fuel.
