Taramps TL 1500 digital amplifier module was designed to deliver high sound quality to automotive sound systems, whether original or customized. With 390 watts of power distributed over 3 channels, 2 stereo channels with a power of 95 watts rms at 2 ohms each, and 1 channel for subwoofers, which provides 200 watts rms at 4 ohms.
It has bass boost control to reinforce the bass, rca inputs and wire input (a.r.t) that recognizes the presence of audio and activates the amplifier automatically, eliminating the need for remote activation. It can be used to play subwoofer, woofer, horn, tweeter, midrange, midbass, among others.
Its characteristics are ideal for amplifying door and bonnet speakers in cars, trucks, pickup trucks, SUVs, motorcycle advertising boxes, 2-way kit, 4-way kit, coaxial, triaxial, quadriaxial, 4 inches, 5 inches, 6 inches, 6x9 inches, 5x7 inches, trio boxes, bob boxes, residential boxes, among others.
TL 1500 improving your car sound system with Taramps quality.
Technical specifications:
• Operation class: class d.
It is the indication of the construction of an amplifier, class d (also called digital) due to the pwm (pulse width modulation) used in its operation, it allows a small, efficient amplifier with reduced heating compared to other construction classes .
• Number of channels: 03.
Number of channels to use in your project. With this specific model, you have the option of connecting with 3 and 2 channels.
• Power @13.8v – 2 ohms, stereo: 2 x 95w rms.
The power, with a voltage of 13.8 volts, is related to the operation of the vehicle/power source.
• Power @13.8v – 4 ohms sub: 1 x 200w rms.
The power, with a voltage of 13.8 volts, is related to the operation of the vehicle/power source.
• Minimum stereo output impedance: 2 ohms.
Association with the speaker result, where, for example, we can connect two 4 ohm speakers per channel for this result.
• Minimum output impedance for subwoofer: 4 ohms.
Association with the result of speakers, where, for example, we can connect two 8 ohm subwoofers to the sub channel, two 2 +2 ohm double coil subwoofers connected in series and parallel, 1 2 + 2 ohm double coil subwoofer connected in series , 4 double coil subwoofers 2+2 ohms connected in series and parallel or just a 4 ohm subwoofer for this result.
• Minimum RCA input sensitivity: 320mV.
Lower voltage required for maximum results with the amplifier, that is, with low volume on the radio, we will achieve good results.
• Minimum wire input sensitivity: 6v.
Lower voltage required for maximum results with the amplifier, that is, with low volume on the radio, we will achieve good results.
• Stereo frequency response: (full range): 90hz to 30khz (-3db).
With the frequency response, it is possible to identify the application of the amplifier, as well as the speaker or any other type of transducer you are using is understood within this response, meaning that we can use this product in your project.
• Sub frequency response: 15hz to 90hz with active frequency cut (-12db/8th).
With the frequency response, it is possible to identify the application of the amplifier, as well as the speaker or any other type of transducer you are using is understood within this response, meaning that we can use this product in your project.
• Bass boost: adjustable from 0 to 10db @ 50hz.
Bass boost is the bass reinforcement for the amplifier's sub channel, that is, an "extra" reinforcement for the bass.
• Supply voltage: 9 to 16v.
It is the operating indication of the amplifier where it will have the minimum and maximum voltage for its operation, outside of this specification it will not turn on or activate protection.
• Consumption at rest: 0.75a.
This is the reference for the consumption of the amplifier turned on and without music.
• Maximum musical consumption: @13.8vdc: 17.5a.
This is the estimated consumption of the amplifier working at minimum impedance, playing music at maximum volume.
• Maximum consumption in sinusoidal signal: 35a.
Reference for bench/laboratory tests under specific conditions with resistive load, fixed frequency and stable power supply.
• Protection system: thermal and output short.
This system exists to protect the operation of the amplifier. It can be related to the output, when we have connections below the minimum impedance, a short circuit in the installation or even speakers with problems.
This protection may also occur due to voltages outside the operating range, or even thermal protection that occurs due to conditions in which the amplifier heats up above normal.
• Dimensions: width 13.8cm x height 4.9cm x depth 12.1cm.
Extreme product dimensions.
• Weight: 600 grams.
Gross weight of the amplifier.
